Children’s Educational Opportunities
Crib Nursery and Toddler Nursery (8:30 to 12:00)
Our nurseries minister to children as they begin from birth to learn about God through our love for them, teaching of God’s Word, and care for them and their families. Church staff members work in our nursery each Sunday to assure your child is greeted by a warm and familiar person.
Graded Sunday School programs (9:45-10:45 AM)
Live B.I.G. – Believing in God is the curriculum used to help
preschool, elementary, and middle school students live out their belief in God as they learn through music, art, discussion, education, hands-on activities and examples set by 
enthusiastic real-life role models.
Preschool
Bongo the Puppet is a
weekly guest in the preschool room that helps children
learn the Biblical principal being taught that day.
Grade
1 – 5
Children have a room that is designed to resemble a SHIP – thus the name WorSHIP.
Emphasis is on creating a weekly worship experience in a
room designed to resemble a SHIP - and named The WorSHIP. Children experience contemporary music and a Bible Story on the big screen each week. Games and crafts are
part of the weekly learning experience.
Children’s Church for ages 4-7 during the 11:00 AM Traditional Worship
We feel that it is important for children to participate in the worship experience in many ways. During the 11:00
AM Traditional Worship a
Children’s Message offers a special time for children with their pastor. Following this children ages 4-7 are invited to their special Children’s Church with their
very own Worship Leaders in Room 104.
Wednesday Night Children' Hour (6:00 - 7:00 PM)
PRESCHOOL STUDENTS attend Choir and have a 30 minute Bible Fun Time. Bible Stories, verses, crafts and games are planned each week.
ELEMENTARY STUDENTS begin the hour with drama games emphasizing diction, memory work and movement on stage to prepare for a drama presentation. Choir rehearsal is the last part of the hour.
Children’s Ministries Yearly Events
- Vacation Bible School - held in the evenings during June for ages 4 years through 6th grade. DVD, group crafts Bible Stories and Music are part of each class. Children conclude the week with a special presentation followed by an ice cream social.
- Trunk or Treat -
Halloween Night is celebrated when our members fill car trunks with treats. Children and families from the church and community are invited to dress in costume and come safely “trunk or treat” from car to car. Giant slides, enclosed trampolines, and other inflatables invite the children to play during this event. - Lunch with Santa - includes fun, Christmas story, and lunch.
- Easter Field Trip - this special trip offers a petting zoo and Easter Egg Hunt.

Camp Sunday School is held on several special Sunday mornings from 10 AM-Noon for ages 3 through grade 5. Special programs and activities include pony rides, water slides and guest magicians
