This active group of retired members of Virginia Wingard
Memorial UMC, meets in the Activity Center at Virginia Wingard Memorial UMC. Meetings vary
to include informative guest speakers and trips of interest to local businesses or governmental facilities.
Group tours are offered throughout the year to places outside Columbia. Some are one-day trips and others are week-long excursions. Fun,
fellowship and comradery are always part of this group's agenda! A special event
is the annual Thanksgiving banquet which is held at the church usually during
the week prior to Thanksgiving day. Come join the Daytimers for a trial visit and you will surely
join us again!
